Another busy week for new game releases is upon us. This week sees a nice selection of games heading to PS5, PSVR2 and PS4.
The big release for this week is of course Modern Warfare 3. The latest Call of Duty game from Activision will no doubt sell really well, as it always does. But the world’s favourite online shooter has been beset by a short and underwhelming campaign among other issues that fans are not liking very much.
Other games to look out for this week include Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. It’s another action adventure RPG in the Yakuza Like a Dragon series from RGG Studios. Also worthy of a further look is Starward Industries’ first-person sci-fi thriller The Invincible. It’s set in a retro-futuristic timeline where you wake up on a hostile planet and have to embark on a mysterious mission to locate your missing crew.
PS VR2 games are a bit thin on the ground this week. There is only one PS VR2 coming out this week and that is Kill It With Fire VR. It’s a game that might make you a bit squeamish, especially if you suffer from arachnophobia. It’s a shooter where you need to take out house spiders infesting a small town.
