PSVR2’s Horizon Call of the Mountain Nominated for VR Game of the Year at the 2023 VR Awards

There’s some tough competition but no mountain to climb for this award

Guerrilla Games and Firesprite developed PS VR2 launch title Horizon Call of the Mountain has been nominated for a prestigious VR award. The game, which sees you play as Shadow Carja warrior Ryas has been nominated for VR game of the year at the 2023 VR Awards.

A description of the VR game of the year category states:

Focusing on the use of Virtual Reality within games is the VR game of the year award. This combines the ingenuity and creativity that it takes to make a successful game along with the innovative use of movement that makes an experience worthwhile.

Other PS VR2 games have also been nominated as finalists for VR Game of the Year. The finalist’s list includes PS VR2 launch titles like The Light Brigade and Skybound’s Before Your Eyes.

The PS VR2 hardware has also been nominated for VR Hardware of the Year.
