Ubisoft has just announced that the very first expansion for Assassin’s Creed Origins, which is titled The Hidden Ones, will be released sometime this month. But that’s not all there will also be a title update, Trials of the Gods will return and there will be updates to the in-game store and Ubisoft club, all this coming this month.
Sounds like January will be a pretty good month for Assassin’s Creed Origins fans, The Hidden Ones expansion will see Bayek and The Assassin’s clash with some no good Romans who occupy and entire new area of the map, yes, an entire new area of stunning Egyptian wonder to explore.
The Hidden Ones will also give us a vast new story and an increase in the level cap from 40 to 45.
Ubisoft have not mentioned an exact release date for the expansion, only that it will be released sometime this month.
If the release of The Hidden Ones isn’t enough to make you foam at the mouth Ubisoft will also be releasing a title update this month for Assassin’s Creed Origins. The title update will add new content to the game including a new quest to celebrate the arrival of The Hidden Ones expansion, updates to the Heka chests item pool and a new option to sell outfits at weavers.
Trials of the Gods will also make a return in January, so if you didn’t manage to take on the mighty Egyptian Gods last month you’ll have another chance this month.
Anubis will be available from January 8th – 16th and Sobek will be available from January 23rd – 30th.
As well as all of the above lovely stuff being added to Assassin’s Creed Origins there will also be updates to the in-game store and Ubisoft club which add will add some new weapons packs and an outfit.
