PS5 Slim Rumoured to Launch on November 8th with Spider-Man 2 Bundle

French website Dealabs, which is famous for accurately leaking PlayStation Plus games, has said that the new PS5 Slim console will launch on November 8th with a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 bundle.

The new slimmer PS5 models were officially unveiled by Sony last week. The new look consoles feature a size reduction and weight reduction as well as an internal storage increase of 1 TB over the original PS5 models.

  • The Digital Edition of the new Slim console will cost $449.99 in the US and £389.99 in the UK.
  • Sony has announced a November 2023 launch window for the PS5 Slim with other countries getting the new console in the coming months.

Sony has only so far given a November release window for the new slimmer PS5 consoles in the United States. However, Dealabs thinks that the console will launch in the US on November 8th with a Spider-Man 2 bundle. Dealabs states that the Spider-Man 2 bundle price will be $559.99.

The French website says that they do not know if the game included with the bundle will be a physical copy or a digital download code.

10th November Launch for Standalone Console

Dealabs also thinks that the standalone versions of the new PS Slim consoles will be released in the United States on 10th November. The site also states that several Japanese retailers including Amazon have opened up pre-orders for the new PS Slim. The release date on Amazon also states a November 10th date for Japan.

Sony has yet to announce the official release date for the new PS5 Slim consoles.

When will the PS5 Slim be released in the UK?

The launch date for the new PS5 models outside of the US and Japan is currently unknown. Sony has previously said that the new consoles will “continue to roll out globally in the following months.”

But with pricing already set for the UK and Europe it will most likely be early in the new year.
