State of Play is Back on Wednesday Covering Over 15 Games

Including new PS5 and PS VR2 games

State of Play branding

It’s been just over four months since PlayStation’s last State of Play in September 2023 so we were probably due for another one soon. And that is what we are getting. The PlayStation Blog has announced that the next State of Play will be held this Wednesday, January 31st.

January’s stream will be just over 40 minutes long and will feature guest appearances by some of the most talented minds in gaming the PlayStation Blog says. The broadcast will take a look at over 15 games as well as longer, more in-depth looks at Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin. Rise of the Ronin launches for PS5 on March 22nd while Stellar Blade has a wide release window of 2024. Hopefully, developer SHIFT UP! will nail down that release date and announce it during the show.

As well as extended looks at Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin, this State of Play will give PlayStation fans a new look at more games coming to PS5 and PS VR2. Death Stranding 2 is also rumoured to be featured, including an official reveal of the game’s full title perhaps?
