Unlike most other big game releases, Horizon Zero Dawn to not have any season pass or DLC to pre-order but if any game should have an expansion or DLC it should be Horizon Zero Dawn.
Thankfully, it looks like Horizon is getting an expansion with Guerilla Games confirming that they are hard at work on an expansion to the story.
This is only the beginning of Aloy’s story and our exploration of the world of Horizon Zero Dawn, with the team already hard at work on an expansion to the story.
The confirmation of an expansion is definatley good news for Horizon fans.
Horizon Zero Dawn was a brilliant game, absolutely one of my favourite games this year so far. When I first heard about Horizon I wasn’t too sure if I would like it, bows and arrows instead of guns, mechanical dinosaurs, I did not think it would be a game I would particularly enjoy.
However, after watching gameplay videos and reading numerous articles, I decided to pre-order it and I can safely say it has definatley been one of the best pre-order decisions I have ever made.
It took me about 70 odd hours to platinum it and to get 100% completion and what a blast it was, I really, really enjoyed playing horizon. The story was great, it made me want to play mission after mission so I could delve deeper into and learn more about the world.
The gameplay was spot on to, the way Aloy moves, the way you can attack enemies, the entire combat system was just abolutely perfect.
Although no real details about the expansion have been revealed or where the expansion might take the story, I for one cannot wait to dive back into the Horizon Zero Dawn world.
