It’s Friday again and that means that Xur has returned to sell us some exotic gear. He’s looking a bit unhappy for some reason this week, probably because he wasn’t mentioned in yesterday’s development update. He was probably looking for some new stuff to sell or maybe a new look.
Xur is in the European Dead Zone at Winding Cover. Let’s take a look at what he’s got for us this week.

The weapon on sale this week is The Colony. This exotic grenade launcher looks pretty bad ass and has the intrinsic perk called Insectoid Robot Grenades where the weapons grenades are insectoid robots that chase targets and explode close to them.
On the armour front Xur has Shinobu’s Vow on sale this week. These exotic hunter gauntlets have the intrinsic perk called New Tricks, which improves skip grenades and gives you an additional skip grenade charge.
For Titan’s Xur has the exotic leg armour MK. 44 Stand Asides. These bad boys have the intrinsic perk called Seriously, Watch Out which grants an overshield when sprinting at full health with Seismic Strike, Hammer Strike, or Shield Bash equipped. Hits with these abilities charge a portion of your melee energy.
For Warlocks Xur has The Stag up for grabs. This exotic helmet has the intrinsic perk called Dearly Departed which grants rift energy when you are critically wounded and on your death, creates a brief healing rift on your corpse.
Also on sale this week is the Fated Engram, this will set you back a cool 97 legendary shards, though you’ve probably got a billion of those things by now anyway so 97 will be like pocket change. The Fated Engram is supposed to grant you an exotic which you don’t already have in your collection, though I am pretty sure it does not quite work as intended.
Xur also has the new three of coins on sale. When applied, three of coins give you an increased chance of exotic engrams from various sources and activities. Their effect lasts for 4 hours.
