Bungie’s Managing Director of Revenue and Product Management Jaremy Rich has jumped ship to Sony Interactive for a new Live-Service gig.
The former Bungie MD has now joined Sony Interactive Entertainment for a new role as Head of Product Management for Live-Service Games.
The news of Rich’s departure from Bungie was reported by DestinyBulletin on X.
“After 7.5 amazing years at Bungie, I’m embarking on a new adventure. I’m joining Sony Interactive Entertainment as Head of Product Management for Live-Service games.” Rich said on a social media post.
Bungie’s leadership have come under fire of late, particularly from Sony. Sony Interactive’s new interim CEO Hiroki Totoki recently said during an investor Q&A that Bungie could improve from a business perspective.
“I also felt that there was room for improvement from a business perspective with regard to areas such as the use of business expenses and assuming accountability for development timelines. I hope to continue the dialogue and come up with some good solutions,” Totoki said.
Destiny 2’s next expansion “The FInal Shape” is due to release on June 4th this year.
