Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has topped both the UK PS5 box chart and the all-formats box chart in its first week of release. In the UK PS5 boxed chart Rebirth managed to knock EA Sports FC 24 from the top spot. It also took the first place position from FC 24 in the all-formats chart.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has had an impressive launch with both critics and players alike praising the game. The Final Fantasy VII Remake sequel is not only sitting pretty at the top of the charts but is also on cloud nine with a Metascore of 92 and a user score of 9.0 on Metacritic.
Elsewhere in the PS5 boxed chart, Helldivers 2 is still doing well and remains in second place. In the all-formats chart Helldivers 2 remains steadfast at number 4. Hogwarts Legacy is still third, and FC 24 drops down to fourth place thanks to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 drops one place to number five and Modern Warfare 3 drops a place to number 6.
