Helldivers 2 is now available to pre-order on the PlayStation Store with the standard edition of the game selling for the low price of only £34.99.
New co-op gameplay from the Arrowhead Game Studios developed shooter was recently shown during September’s State of Play broadcast. Helldivers 2 switches to a third-person perspective from the top-down perspective seen in the first game.
There are two editions that can be pre-ordered for Heldivers 2, a standard edition at £34.99 and a Super Citizen edition at £49.99. The Super Citizen edition comes with some extra stuff as you would expect.
Helldivers 2 looks like it might be a pretty good game and certainly looks like it will be more fun to play with friends.
The low price point of Helldivers 2 is certainly a welcome move by Sony. Many PlayStation fans just assumed that Sony would try and bleed fans dry and sell the game at the usual £70.00.
