The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners Chapter 2: Retribution, as well as having a very long title might be the first physical boxed game to release for PS VR2 and PS5.
The game’s developers, Sydance Interactive previously stated that the second chapter of The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners would be getting a physical copy on PS5. But a user on the r/PSVR subreddit has spotted the game on Amazon.com.
The Amazon.com listing shows what the PS5 packaging will look like.
There’s nothing particularly different about the physical box for the game, except that it has additional text letting a potential buyer know that PlayStation VR2 is required.
The physical edition of The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners Chapter 2 can be pre-ordered on AMazon.com for £49.99. The Amazon listing shows a release date of April 23, 2023.
The digital version of Saints & Sinners Chapter 2 will launch on PS VR2 on March 31st 2023, a month after the PS VR2 comes out. It will be available in three editions: Standard which includes the base game, Payback Edition which includes some digital stuff and Deluxe Edition which comes bundled with Chapter 1.
PlayStation VR2 comes out on February 22nd and can be pre-ordered from PlayStation Direct. No need for an invitation.
