UK PS5 boxed chart information for the week ending 16th of December has been made available. And no surprise but Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 remains at number one after regaining the top spot last week.
Insomniac Games’ sublime super-hero open-world adventure featuring our favourite Spider-Men Peter Parker and Miles Morales has spent 9 weeks in the chart since it launched on October 20th. Last week Spider-Man 2 knocked football powerhouse EA Sports FC 24 off the top spot and looks like it might remain in a strong position over the holiday period.
Spider-Man 2 developer Insomniac Games recently suffered a massive hack which saw a ton of info being leaked about future games. This included info on Spider-Man 3 as well as a Spider-Man 2 DLC or perhaps a half-sequel focusing on Venom.
Elsewhere in the UK PS5 boxed chart Modern Warfare 3 has gained a place and sits at number 2. EA Sports FC24 gains a place and is now at number 3 and Hogwarts Legacy also gains a place and is now in fourth position.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has made another re-entry into the PS6 boxed chart at number 5 and Avatar Frontiers of Pandora has slipped four places to number 6.
