PS5 fans in the UK have put The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered at the top of the UK PS5 boxed chart. The PS5 remaster of The Last of Us Part 2 was released on Friday the 19th of January, fans bought so many boxed copies that the game debuted at the top of the chart for the week ending the 20th of January, knocking EA Sports FC 24 down to third.
The remaster not only brings the game to PS5 with many visual upgrades, But it also adds the awesome No Return roguelike mode, a guitar-free play mode and three lost levels that were cut from the original game. Part 2 Remastered has also entered the all-formats chart at number 3, one place ahead of Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
Elsewhere in the UK PS5 boxed chart, Hogwarts Legacy remains in second place. Naughty Dog’s Part 2 Remaster has nocked EA Sports FC 24 down to third. Mortal Kombat 1 drops one place to number four and Prince of Persia The Lost Crown debuts in fifth place.
Marvel’s Spide-Man 2 is still going strong in sixth place but drops three places in the all-formats chart to number 12. Modern Warfare 3 dips three places to number 7 in the PS5 boxed chart and GTA 5 drops two places to ninth place.
