The rumoured PS5 Slim Spider-Man 2 bundle appears to be true. A warehouse worker on X has leaked a couple of photos of the Spider-Man 2 PS5 slim bundle box. Sony has yet to officially announce a specific launch date for the PS5 Slim. So far they have only announced a release window of November for the new console to launch in the US.
The Spider-man 2 PS5 Slim bundle rumour stated that the console would launch on November 8th. Given that we are only 5 days away from that date with no word from Sony, this date seems unlikely. But with console bundles being supplied to retailers, one can only expect a release date announcement very soon indeed.
PS5 Slim Spider-Man 2 Bundle Confirmed
The leaked pictures of the PS5 Slim Spider-Man 2 bundle were posted to X by a user called Flioryx. The original post text is in Spanish but the translated text reads “I found the PS5 Slim at work, the box was very small lmao (by the way, there are 40 of those in that cage, so there must be more than 40 thousand there).
The user’s profile seems to suggest that they are from Chile. But it is not known if the consoles in the pictures are meant for the Chilean or South American market or if they are just at some distribution hub awaiting onward shipping to the US. It seems unlikely though that units would be shipped to Chile for them then to be forwarded to the United States.
The PS5 Slim already had a confirmed Modern Warfare 3 bundle via a photo of the box on a retailer’s shelf. A PS5 Slim ad spotted by Charlie Intel (via PushSquare) suggests that the Modern Warfare 3 bundle will cost $499.99 for the disc edition with Moder Warfare 3. Meaning that you would be getting the game for free essentially.
Charlie Intel’s post suggests that this bundle will be available from November 10th.
