The Papyrus Puzzle ‘A Long Drink’ is one of the first Papyrus puzzles you will find when playing through Assassin’s Creed Origins. For this particular Papyrus puzzle, you have decipher a cryptic clue to find a location in Siwa which holds some sweet loot.
You will find this Papyrus Puzzle when doing The Healer side quest. This side quest will eventually take you to the House of Life where you have to kill some soldiers, it is here, underneath a tent thing where you will find the A Long Drink Papyrus Puzzle.
The description for A Long Drink reads: In Siwa, come find me at the bottom of the only bowl big enough for a God.
Naturally the name A Long Drink and the fact that there is some kind of bowl involved led me to believe that I had to dive to the bottom of a lake in Siwa. After much swimming and diving and finding nothing I realised that the lakes aren’t really bowl-shaped.
funnily enough I actually stumbled upon the solution or rather the location completely by accident whilst travelling to another part of Siwa.
Turn out, the Bowl is not actually a lake or any other natural body of water but is a man-made pool which is much more bowl-shaped.
Here is the location of the Pool on the map.
The pool is located right where my location marker is on the map. If you are elsewhere in Siwa, fast travel to the center of Siwa and it is a short journey from there.
Once you’re at the pool, simply jump in and you should be able to loot the treasure that is at the bottom. You should receive some decent loot from here, I got the Cutting Axe, which is a rare heavy blade with 22 quality and 88/s damage.
Upon solving this Papyrus Puzzle you will also unlock the Elementary, My Dear Bayek trophy.
