Assassin’s Creed Origins: Dead End Papyrus Puzzle Solution

Where man’s creation brings the water of the Nile to the sand.

Hello, GamerWithADegree here with another Papyrus Puzzle Solution. Assassin’s Creed Origins has a ton of stuff to do in the game (Bungie take note) and solving the Papyrus puzzles to find some amazing loot is really, really fun.

This  guide is to help you solve the Dead End Papyrus puzzle which is the trickiest one to find so far as the location the loot is hiding in is fairly big and you need to do a bit of searching. Hopefully my guide will make it a bit easier though.

The first step to solving the Dead End Papyrus puzzle and finding some sweet loot is to first locate the actual Papyrus scroll. You can find the Papyrus scroll at Zephyros Stables in Kanopos Nome. The Papyrus is sitting on a table inside a barn. The map image below shows the exact location.

The cryptic clue for the Dead End Papyrus puzzle reads: “In Sapi-Res Nome, north of Letopolis Temple, you can find me in the farmland. I lay where man’s creation brings the Nile’s water to desert sand.”

The first part of the clue is self explanatory, head to Sapi-Res Nome. once your in Sapi-Res Nome, head to the temple and then go north along the bank of the river Nile, if you keep heading northwards up the bank, you will come to some green fields, this is the ‘farmland’ in the clue.

If you keep heading along the bank of the river you should see an irrigation channel which runs between a green field and a patch of sand. The loot is located at the end of this irrigation channel. Refer to the screenshots below for where the location of the loot is.

Once you’ve solved the Dead End Papyrus puzzle and located the treasure you can now loot the treasure and stare in amazement at the awesome piece of gear you were rewarded. Seriously, it should be pretty awesome, I got a Legendary level 21 shield with 55 quality. Pretty, pretty nice.
