This guide will show you where to find the safe and artefact with the safe combination in Chapter 29 – Hostile Territory.

At some point in the chapter, you will be at the street shown in the screenshot below.
Walk up this street and go to the first store on the left, which says Jasmine Bakery on the window and has a boarded-up door. Smash through the shop window to gain access and find the safe at the back of the shop behind the counter.
To get the artefact which has the safe combination, we will need to gain access to the shuttered building that is across the street from the Jasmine Bakery.
Exit the Jasmine Bakery, turn left and walk up the street. Now enter the 3rd shop on the left, shown in the screenshot below.
In this building, go past the bar on the right and head through the doorway at the back right and head upstairs. Turn right at the top of the stairs and you will see a doorway on the left being blocked by furniture. Go prone and crawl through the gap between the floor and the furniture.
Head out to the balcony on your left and you will see a gap you can jump across to get to the building across the street. Jump over the gap, then go left and through the open doorway. You will find the artefact sitting on top of some cardboard boxes to the right.
Read the artefact note to reveal the safe combination of 689689.
Don’t forget the Double-Barrelled Shotgun
Before heading back to the Jasmine Bakery to open the safe, take the doorway next to the boxes where you found the artefact. Then jump down the hole in the floor. A sneaky little infected will try and ambush you, so quickly kill him and then head towards counter shaped like a right-angle. Behind this counter, you will find a Double-Barrell Shotgun.
After picking up the shotgun, a couple more infected will drop down from above, quickly take care of them with your newly found weapon.
Now you can head back to the Jasmine Bakery to open the safe with the code 689689 and get some much-needed resources.
