In case you can’t be bothered reading the full article, here’s a list of the confirmed and rumoured games to make an appearance during the State of Play.

Firewalk’s Concord
First up Concord. French site Dealabs, who are known for accurately predicting things like the monthly PS Plus games have said that Concord might make an appearance. To refresh your memory, Concord is a PvP multiplayer FPS from the new PlayStation Studio Firewalk Studios. The game was originally revealed at the last PlayStation Showcase in May last year.
At the PlayStation Showcase Concord was announced with the short teaser trailer you can watch above. Dealabs thinks that a gameplay reveal as well as a reveal of some of the game’s characters is imminent. Perhaps at this week’s State of Play. Dealabs goes as far as to say that there is “a very high chance” we will see the game during the stream.
Silent Hill 2, a Sonic remaster and Judas?
Industry insider and XBoxEra founder Shpeshal_Nick accurately predicted the date of the latest State of Play the day before it was officially announced. They also hinted at some other games that might make an appearance during the show.
Nick’s other predictions include more from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Death Stranding 2 and a Sonic Generations remaster maybe? There might also be a new game in the Metro franchise and more on the upcoming first-person shooter Judas, developed by Ghost Story Games.
Death Stranding 2 was already rumoured to be making an appearance at the State of Play with perhaps a full title reveal. Now with another solid industry insider stating this as well, it could be accurate. Maybe.
Metro Awakening VR for PSVR2?
To lend some more credence to Shpeshal_Nick’s prediction of a new game in the Metro franchise, X user Kurakasis thinks that the new Metro game is a VR game. Kurakasis is predicting that the next Metro game will be a Virtual Reality game called Metro Awakening.
The PlayStation Blog did say that we would also see PS VR2 games so this could be an accurate prediction. A VR Metro game would certainly be pretty sweet.
We won’t have long to wait to find out if any of these predictions are accurate. The next State of Play takes place on Wednesday, January 31st at 10 PM GMT.
