Friday is here again and that can mean only one thing, Xur the ever mysterious purveyor of exotic goods has returned to the worlds of Destiny 2. But, where is he this week?

This week Xur is on Io. He’s in his usual cave at Giant’s Scar probably hiding from all the Vex and Taken outside. Let’s take a look at what he’s selling this week.
Xur’s Inventory
Item | Type | Power Level | Cost |
---|---|---|---|
Skyburner’s Oath | Scout Rifle | 305 | 29 Legendary Shards |
Celestial Nighthawk | Hunter Helmet | 305 | 23 Legendary Shards |
Doom Fang Pauldron | Titan Gauntlets | 305 | 23 Legendary Shards |
Wings of Sacred Dawn | Warlock Chest Armour | 305 | 23 Legendary Shards |
Fated Engram | Engram | 300 | 97 Legendary Shards |
Three of Coins | Consumable | N/A | 31 Legendary Shards |

The weapon on sale by Xur this week is Skyburner’s Oath. This exotic Scout Rifle shoots solar damage and has the intrinsic perk called Slug Rifle which means the weapon fires solar slugs which get stronger when aiming down sights. Skyburner’s Oath also has the trait called For The Empire which means the weapon fires in full-auto, does extra damage to Cabal and will penetrate Phalanx shields.
On the armour front Xur is selling Celestial Nighthawk for Hunters. This exotic helmet has the intrinsic perk called Hawkeye Hack which modifies Golden Gun to fire a single, high damage shot and enemies killled by the shot will explode. Great perk for doing some huge damage to bosses.
For Titan’s Xur has on his armour rack some Doom Fang Pauldron’s. These exotic gauntlets have the intrinsic perk called Horns of Doom, where shield bash melee kills recharge shield throw and melee ability kills recharge Sentinel shield super.
And for Warlocks Xur is selling Wings of Sacred Dawn. This exotic chest armour has the intrinsic perk called Tome of Dawn – when Dawnblade is equipped, aiming weapons while in midair suspends you there for a short time. Precision hits extend this effects duration.
Elsewhere in Xur’s Aladdin’s Cave or just Xur’s Cave is Three of Coins and the Fated Engram.
Three of Coins will cost you 31 legendary shards each. Using one of these consumables whilst out and about in the worlds of Destiny 2 will grant an increased chance at getting exotic engrams to drop.
Fated Engram will set you back a cool 97 legendary shards but will grant you an exotic item that is not already in your collection. It won’t give you any exotics earned through quests though.
