Prestigious UK music academy The Ivors Academy has nominated Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Forbidden West for Best Original Video Game score at their annual awards ceremony.
The news of the nomination was shared by Guerrilla Games on Twitter.
Horizon Forbidden West is nominated along with Gotham Knights and Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
This is not the first time that Horizon Forbidden West has been nominated for music awards. Last year the game was nominated for and won Best Original Composition in Gaming and Best Sound Design at the 2022 Music and Sound Awards.
Forbidden West’s score was composed by a team from Guerrilla Games and Ivor Novello award-winning The Flight.
This years The Ivors Awards takes place next week, Thursday, May 18th in London.
