A leaker has claimed that Sony will announce a Ghost of Tsushima sequel, presumably Ghost of Tsushima 2 at a PlayStation Showcase in May or June.
In a now deleted Tweet (via r/GamingLeaksandRumours), leaker Haothors on Twitter/X has claimed that Ghost of Tsushima 2 will be revealed at an upcoming PlayStation Showcase, possibly in May or June of this year.
According to the r/GamingLeaksandRumours thread, the source is the same person who leaked the Horizon Forbidden West PC specs. The source also correctly leaked that the PlayStation Blog would announce the PC release of Ghost of Tsushima directors cut today, which it did.
The leaker certainly seems to be somewhat credible and we know that a sequel is definitely in development going by Sucker Punch job listings. Ghost of Tsushima launched in 2020 for PS4 and The Director’s Cut launched in August 2021 for both PS4 and PS5, along with the Iki Island story expansion.
There is also a Ghost of Tsushima movie in the works at PlayStation Productions. So it is reasonable to assume that a sequel might not be too far off. I guess we’ll need to wait until May or June to find out.
